How do I update my profile?
After logging into CastBack, your initials will be displayed in a circle at the top right navigation of the website (next to Inbox). Click on the circle and select Profile settings from the drop-down menu, then edit your profile.
I cannot log in. How do I reset my password?
- Click the Reset password link on the login page just above the Log in button
- Enter your email and click the blue Send instructions button
- Go to the email account provided and follow the password reset instructions
Are there any hidden fees or charges?
No. We pride ourselves on a reasonable and transparent fee model.
Seller's pay a flat 6% fee + applicable taxes & shipping charges (if applicable). Buyer's obviously pay for the item + applicable taxes & shipping charges (if applicable).
How are you able to keep fees so low?
As an online marketplace with no inventory, we are able to cut overhead most traditional outdoors stores & fly shops cannot. Further, we are not looking to get rich - the fly fishing community is near and dear to our hearts; we are here to help grow and support each other in this sport.
Can I use CastBack on a mobile device?
Yes. We are currently working on designing a dedicated mobile app, but any browser on an iPhone or Android device can use CastBack.
Can I buy or sell fishing gear NOT specific to fly fishing?
Not at the moment. While there is certainly opportunity to expand into the larger fishing gear market, CastBack will remain fly fishing-centric for the near term so we can moderate and grow it organically.
I live outside of the USA. Am I able to buy or sell on CastBack?
At this time, CastBack only serves the Continental United States. As we grow, there will likely be expansion into a global fly fishing market.
