This rod has the perfect balance of having a backbone, but just soft enough in the tip to lay down a dry without disturbing the water and spooking fish! Perfect for throwing very small flies - the light line works by absorbing the recoil of the initial strikes & fighting bigger fish so you’re not breaking off those big fish that make those crazy runs after they’re hooked! Especially when using light tippet! It is definitely known for being a beautiful casting dry Fly Rod, but with enough backbone to fight your bigger fish! Considered to be the holy Grail of dry fly rods by many!! One of the best dry fly rods out there, but not so soft you can’t throw bigger flies. Also a great nymphing rod! This is the new and improved version of the LL from many years ago that is so sought after and highly prized! One of those rods you just cannot go wrong with! Highly recommend!! This rod literally looks brand new! It very well may have never been fished! I also wanted to mention this rod does not come with a sock, but it does come with a new sage, aluminum multi rod tube!!
