Listing information, such as item titles, descriptions, photos, condition details, asking prices, shipping options, and other information you provide when creating or managing listings. Order and transaction information, such as offers, counteroffers, purchases, shipping details, tracking information, order status, dispute information, and communications related to a transaction. Messages and communications between users, including messages sent through CastBack’s messaging tools. Customer support communications, including messages, emails, reports, requests, complaints, and other communications you send to us. We may also collect information from our payment processor or other service providers, including payment status, payout status, transaction identifiers, billing information, dispute or chargeback information, fraud-prevention information, and other payment-related metadata. CastBack does not store full credit card numbers, full bank account numbers, or full payment credentials. We may automatically collect technical information, such as: IP address. Device type. Browser type. Operating system. Pages viewed. Referring pages or links. Login activity. Date and time of visits. Cookie and similar tracking information. General usage information about how the Service is accessed and used.

2. How We Use Information

3. Marketplace Visibility and Public Information

Some information you provide is visible to other users or the public. Your public profile may show information such as: Display name. Profile photo. Bio. General location, such as state or country. Member-since date. Reviews and ratings you receive. Review count and average rating. Public listings. Other information you choose to make public. Listings may show information such as item photos, descriptions, asking prices, condition details, seller display name, general seller location, and other listing details. Reviews you receive may be visible on your profile. Reviews help users evaluate marketplace activity and build trust within the CastBack community. Private information such as your full address, payment details, email address, phone number, and full legal name are not displayed publicly by CastBack unless you choose to include them in public content, messages, listings, or profile fields.

4. Messages Between Users

CastBack provides messaging tools so buyers and sellers can communicate about listings, offers, orders, shipping, and related marketplace activity. Messages between users are not public, but they are not treated as private from CastBack. We may access, review, preserve, or use messages when reasonably necessary to: Provide customer support. Resolve disputes. Investigate fraud, scams, abuse, harassment, or policy violations. Enforce our Terms of Service. Prevent off-site transactions or attempts to avoid marketplace protections and fees. Protect users, CastBack, and the integrity of the marketplace. Comply with legal obligations. Users should not include sensitive personal information, payment credentials, unnecessary financial information, or private details in marketplace messages.

5. Payment Processing

CastBack uses third-party payment processors to handle payments, payouts, refunds, identity verification, fraud prevention, and related financial services. When you make a purchase, receive a payout, or complete payment-related onboarding, your information may be collected and processed by our payment processor. This may include name, address, date of birth, tax information, bank account information, payment card information, identity verification information, transaction history, and other information required by the payment processor. CastBack does not control how a payment processor collects, uses, or stores your information outside of CastBack. Payment processors have their own privacy policies and terms. CastBack may receive limited payment-related information, such as transaction status, payment confirmation, payout status, dispute status, refund status, fraud signals, and transaction identifiers, so we can operate the marketplace and provide support.

6. Shipping Information

When a buyer purchases an item, the buyer’s shipping information may be shared with the seller so the seller can ship the item. Sellers may receive information such as the buyer’s name, shipping address, and other details needed to complete the order. Sellers may only use this information to complete the transaction, ship the item, communicate about the order, resolve issues, and comply with marketplace obligations. Sellers may not use buyer shipping information for unrelated marketing, harassment, resale, data collection, or any purpose unrelated to the CastBack transaction.

7. Email and Marketing Communications

We may send you transactional emails related to your account, listings, offers, orders, shipping, payment activity, support requests, policy updates, and security. We may also send newsletters, featured listing emails, marketplace updates, raffle announcements, partner promotions, and other marketing messages. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us. You may still receive service-related or transactional emails even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails.

8. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve CastBack. Cookies and similar technologies may be used to: Keep you signed in. Remember preferences. Improve site performance. Understand how users interact with the Service. Detect fraud, abuse, or security issues. Support analytics and website improvements. 13. Data Retention

14. Account Deletion

You may delete your account from your profile or account settings page, as long as you do not have any open orders, pending transactions, unresolved disputes, active offers, pending payouts, or other active marketplace activity. If your account has an open order or other active marketplace activity, you may not be able to delete your account until that activity is completed, canceled, refunded, resolved, or otherwise closed. This helps protect buyers, sellers, and CastBack by preserving order records, communication history, shipping details, payment information, and dispute-related information while a transaction is still active. After you delete your account, we may delete, deactivate, anonymize, or restrict access to your account information, subject to any information we need to retain for legitimate business, legal, tax, accounting, security, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, or marketplace-integrity reasons. Some information may be retained after account deletion, including: Transaction records. Order history. Payment and payout records. Tax or accounting records. Dispute records. Fraud prevention records. Legal compliance records. Records needed to enforce our Terms of Service. Deleting your account may not remove information already shared with other users as part of completed or pending transactions. For example, a buyer or seller may still have access to order details needed for shipping, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, payment issues, or legal compliance. Deleting your account may also not remove public content that has been copied, saved, shared, indexed, or otherwise retained by others outside of CastBack’s control. If you have trouble deleting your account, or if your account cannot be deleted because of open marketplace activity, you may contact us through the Service for assistance.

15. Your Choices and Rights

You may update certain account and profile information through your account settings. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to: Request access to personal information we hold about you. Request correction of inaccurate personal information. Request deletion of personal information. Request a copy of certain personal information. Object to or restrict certain uses of personal information. Opt out of certain types of data sharing or targeted advertising, if applicable. Appeal a privacy request decision, if required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. We may deny or limit requests where allowed by law, including when information must be retained for legal, security, fraud-prevention, tax, accounting, dispute-resolution, or marketplace-integrity reasons.
